Trend forecasting for tomorrow's man.
In returning to Los Angeles after an extended period of time in Europe, I recognized a new Icon emerging. The man of tomorrow. I see him everywhere and in many forms. Namely, in motion. The Bird Scooters were a major phenomenon. I saw so many men get genuinely excited to ride an electric scooter down the street and be able to just leave it there. I, personally, saw many accidents on these with my own two eyes. I witnessed colliding, being hit by a bus, or even hit by a car in the parking lot. There is no doubt that the modern man is fascinated by modes of transportation.
In the post pandemic era, I see many new varieties of electric boarding or "hoverboarding". This mysterious man always wears a helmet and is sharply dressed as he zooms by in the blink of an eye.
I have also seen hover surfboarders out in Malibu, and on the news, many of us read about mysterious jet packers flying around LAX.
Even my seven year old son seems to expect to be able to fly around in cars without drivers by the time he reaches adulthood. I am not wondering 'if' but rather 'when' these modes of transportation will become standardized... I suppose these are really questions for Bezos, Musk, and Branson. I am sure they already know.
There is no doubt that the man of the futures fashion is going to be influenced largely by his mode of transportation.
